The old gas station in Afton OK was closed, but still a really neat building. Had I been in a cooler car, I'd have made more of a photo op out of it.
A little of old downtown Afton:
Next stop was the legendary Totem Pole Park and the Fiddle House. Really quirky old place, but you can see how in the 50s it would have been a nice stop on the family road trip.
Looking up in the big totem pole:
Other neat things Ed Galloway made on the grounds:
Next stop was the Blue Whale - while I don't actually remember if it was this one or not, I do remember going swimming at a similar attraction when I was younger!
Stopped at the Blue Dome gas station in Tulsa, even though the parking lot is clearly marked "no stopping" and "customers only". I do what I want lol.
In Chandler, OK, I stopped at McJerry's Art Gallery. He lives next door, so you get there, call him, and he comes and opens up. I bought a print that is now on the garage wall.
Right down the road from the Round Barn is the massive soda shop Pops, which I apparently failed to capture. Oh well. My last car guy stop for the evening was Farmtruck and AZN's shop, because of course. Super fun stop, lots of memorabilia, plus I love the sense of humor of the whole thing. And driving the MurderSofa made it all the better.
Next morning I made one stop on the way out of town, also Street Outlaws related. Super disappointing, low on swag, overall kinda boring.

Yeah, I have no idea what happened. Gotta try to fix it now. It was working last night just fine.
It's literally going to make me upload instead of paste into each post? Lame.

I'm going through and uploading individually to fix it.
