The Infiniti QX60 is new for 2022, and Nissan reports that this is one of the brand’s most successful nameplates.
How does it compare to past models? Keep scrolling.
Probably the most satisfying Infiniti I have driven in recent memory.
The seats, they’re perfect. Nissan scores well regarding all of the touchpoints here. The interior stitching looks first rate.
Perhaps the center console lid perfectly sums up the interior: The stitching looks perfect, while the lid closes with the proper click. Now extrapolate that to the rest of the interior.
The shifter is more of a rock-it-forward, rock-it-backward affair, but it works. Thank you, Nissan, for not going with buttons or a knob.
And that knob isn’t linked to a CVT. This one gets a nine-speed automatic. Power comes from a 295-horsepower V6 that’s smooth. Infiniti says it can tow up to 6000 pounds.
It's front-drive, too. For mall cruising, that's fine.
The steering feels a tad light but is still communicative. And for a three-row SUV, the whole package feels about the right size.
Final thoughts on this one: I’m eager to see what’s in the pipeline from Nissan’s luxury brand, especially with competition from Genesis coming on strongly.
