BTW: For those going, I'm looking forward to seeing you at some point during the weekend.

The field of 80 hillclimb entries may be set for the Flag Rock HillClimb, but you can still take in the festivities as a spectator this weekend, June 28-30.
On Friday, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., the cars and stars head into downtown Norton, Virginia, for the Flag Rock HillClimb FanFest, brought to you by Backroads of Appalachia. There will also be live music on hand, too. At the FanFest you can also pick up wristbands for spectating the hillclimb. They’re $5 for the adults, and kids are free.
On Saturday and Sunday, park at Burton High School to spectate. Buses will transport spectators to the viewing area. They’ll run every 30 minutes, from 9 a.m. to about 4 p.m. on Saturday, and about 3 p.m. on Sunday. Food and restrooms will be available at the viewing area.
Spectators are encouraged to may bring chairs, blankets and coolers smaller than 18 inches. No coolers bigger than that, nor any alcohol or pets.
The entry list features a potpourri of cars, ranging from a 1970 Chevrolet Camaro to a 2016 BMW M4, with a wild variety in between.

Getting to a hill climb event to shoot it is on my bucket list, these events sound like a lot of fun.
