The 2025 model year will be the final one for the Lexus RC and RC F. The company said it sold more than 90,000 units of the cars across the world, and they will celebrate the conclusion of the model with the RC F Final Edition.

Yes, there will be several trim levels for the RC, but only one for the RC F: The Final Edition. What makes it different from last year’s RC F?

Aesthetics-wise, Lexus says it builds on the Carbon Package offered in 2024, and includes a carbon fiber roof, side rocker panels, front spoiler and rear diffuser. It also features a “Final Edition” emblem on the front console.

Performance-wise, the RC F still carries the melodious-sounding, 5.0-liter, 2UR-GSE V8. Same eight-speed automatic (sorry, still no manual). However, the RC F now comes with a “handcrafted” Torsen rear diff, which has adjusted backlash for better acceleration and deceleration response. Zero-to-60 numbers actually increased, though, from 4 to 4.2 seconds. Top speed remains 168 mph.

The RC F Final Edition goes for $94,000. The RC starts at $46,445 for the base 300.

And for those wondering what you can do with a Lexus RC F, here's a reminder:

So what will they run in GT3/GTD? IS, LC, or Supra?

I love the RC F, however, I'm too poor to afford a car that costs that much.

I thought they had some GT3-edition type RC coming out. Are they just discontinuing this name plate or what? Hmm.

Toyota showed the GR GT3 concept a couple of years ago:

They've been testing this thing quite a bit lately. Supposedly prepping for the 2026 racing season:

.If it's badged as a Lexus, people are speculating it will be called the LFR. These are supposed to be design patent drawings of a road going version, but I can't verify that to be true:

Sad to see this go.  I like the idea of more performance models in the market.

Always enjoyed driving these cars: smooth V8 power along with all the comforts. Pour one out.

Back in 2020 I tried to order a RCF.  Waited 7 months only to be told "we can't tell you if or when it might be built."  I got an LC500 instead.  I wonder how many RCF were actually built.

There's an alternate universe where this, and not the BMW Z4, was the Supra. I like the BMupras just fine, but that alternate universe is pretty okay as well.
