A Miata Named Olaf | Your $2000 Challenge Cars

Participating in your first $2000 Challenge? As it turns out, Miata also seems to be the answer for that situation, too—at least according to forum user AxeHealey.

Called Olaf (so named with the help of AxeHealey’s three-year-old kid who is “going through a big time Frozen phase”), the first hurdle with this Miata was actually acquiring the car during a pandemic, as the handoff didn’t occur until a few months of planning:

“We finally landed on me renting a car here, driving halfway (or as close to halfway as possible with a rental office open on the weekend), meeting in the middle, adding him to the rental and him taking it back to VA with me bringing the Miata home.”

Since then, Olaf got some new wheels and fresh tires on all four corners.
