I am trying to get a few folks from work to come out an cheer JG on...
There’s a new autocross series in town. The Optima DriveAutoX focuses on fun, socialization and camaraderie, not just getting around the cones fastest. From the DriveAutoX website: “We all love competition, but DriveAutoX will keep it friendly and fun. There are classes for all years/makes/models and modifications. Prizes will be given to those that perform well, but the grand prize goes to everyone that comes out, has fun, and leaves with a smile.”
Bonus: “You will never be required to work or shag cones.”
Their inaugural event takes place this weekend in Concord, North Carolina. JG entered this two-day autocross with our project Corvette Z06. Watch our Facebook page for live updates, and we’ll report back after we make it back to the office.

There's this little car show/swap meet going on at the speedway across the street too, so plenty of attractions this weekend, as long as the weather cooperates
