Look for this one to cross the Mecum auction block during its upcoming Monterey sale: a 1987 Chevy Camaro IROC-Z.

Things to like here:

No T-tops (sorry not sorry).

Only 5726 miles on the odometer.

And the rather rare five-speed manual box, meaning it came with the 305-cubic-inch V8.

Any guesses what this one will bring?

Oh, I saw a third-gen Camaro the other day in traffic. They look so tiny today.

The body style of this generation of Camaro has really grown on me.

My father-in-law had that exact car, even down to the color.

It was a hoot to drive.

It's a shame it's not beat to crap, I'd love to properly hoon an IROC.

I had two regular '84s back in the day & loved them both.  Still an import guy now but every once in awhile I think an IROC would be fun.
