You know the funny thing is these cars haven't really depreciated at all in the last 8-10 years. I sold my 04 MSM GT in Silver in what sounds like very similar condition for 10.8K in 2008. Seems like an easy way to own a fun car and not have it cost a lot to own.
MSMs sold cheap when new because they were underwhelming on the test drive and Dodge had the SRT-4 on the lot. But then the aftermarket fixed the biggest problems and the NC didn't suit a lot of people, so the resale values pretty much just locked in. It's the ultimate version of the original Miata.
Love that black. Best looking NB to my eyes.

Thanks for the bump. I've gotten a lot of "clean car!" and "too bad I just bought a car last week" and "too bad you're not in Oregon/New Mexico/etc".
I love this car, and wouldn't mind hanging on to it. But the driveway is just too crowded and this car should go to someone who will drive it more than 1,500 miles/year. The first person who drives it will buy it, just have to get that first person to get a hold of me.

Last year I put under 500 miles on my MSM. I've done a little better this year, but will probably end up around 1k for the year. Not planning on selling it though.

You are welcome. Hope it finds a new home soon.
