Update by Per Schroeder to the LeGrand Mk 18 project car

The new bodywork helped us drop 20-plus pounds.

The new wing is pretty aggressive, but it should help a bunch.

And here's the money shot with the new bodywork. The graphics are a copy of what we had on our green body.

We wrapped up our new bodywork and finished our wing element this week. We’re nearly ready for Nationals—about the only thing we’ve got left on our to-do list is to get new Hoosier tires. We’re going to try a rear tire with a slightly smaller diameter, and we’ll add a corresponding bump in gearing to compensate for the change.

If you squint just right it looks a bit like a CanAm McLaren. Maybe some Reynolds aluminum sponsorship???

What's the graphic on the front fender below the air ducts? (Looks great, btw!)

I believe it's a Scooty Puff Sr sticker, from Futurama.

Yep.

Coming from an HS MINI...this is the Sr., not the Jr.

when you did the edge trim on the back, did you cut the rounded leading edge (now the trailing edge)? and how did you keep the screws that mount the trim to you Element??
