Window tint has done wonders for in-car temperatures.

Recharging the a/c was critical before a trip to Austin in July.

RallyArmor mud flaps always look great on a WRX.

Lately, we’ve just been enjoying our WRX. That also means we’ve been working on some of its details.

All that glass meant lots of sun hitting the interior. We got a Groupon deal for a local tint shop and had our windows tinted as dark as is legal in Florida. Our door panels used to get blazing hot, but after installing the tint, they’re always touchable. It helped, because we took a trip to Austin in July.

Before that trip to Texas, though, we also recharged the a/c. It was super easy. The low-pressure charge port is accessible right by the firewall, near the turbo.

Even though this car is lowered, we think a WRX looks great with RallyArmor mud flaps. Even for street driving, it keeps rain and crud from spraying all over the car. We’re really happy with them. They installed into stock mounting holes, which is extra easy.
