Our Mazda MX-5 is ready to run for the big prize at the SCCA's ProSolo and Solo National Championships.
It all comes down to this. We’ve tested, we’ve tuned, we’ve tweaked. We’ve done our homework and our confidence is high that we are ready for the big dance. This is what we’ve been working for all year — to see if our Mazda MX-5 project can prove itself in autocross competition against the world’s best at the Tire Rack SCCA ProSolo Finale and Solo National Championship at Lincoln Airpark in Nebraska.
Although the car was built to remain street friendly, we are towing it to the event, but only because we need to bring along pit bikes, helmets, coolers, tools and clothes to last three drivers for a week. There is a limit to how much we can pack into the little MX-5, so this time we’re bringing a support vehicle.
Stay tuned for our results as they happen.
