I found a vary rare Subaru “Cheeseburger” body in Az which was fitted to truck frames like my 360 truck back in the day. Take one Indianapolis 500 driver/ southwest dirt track driver (Bill Cheeseborugh) (SP) who owned a dune buggy shop in AZ, One company trying to cash in on the south west desert dune buggy craze of the 60’s (Penny’s department store) and you get the “Cheeseburger” It was a prototype made for Penny’s department store to put in there catalog. It didn’t get selected, Penny’s opted for a brigs and stratton go cart version. Bill was stuck with several bodies and frames, rumor has it about 25 of each which stacks of these remained at his shop for years then one day disappeared. Most likely trashed.
