I had 2 Neons. I'll remember my 1st one (98 DOHC) more fondly. After 6 years and 165k miles, it still would go right to the 7250 RPM rev limiter with out a problem.
I bought the car new and have really enjoyed it. Thankfully, the streets were repaved 7 years ago, before that was done I wondered if my back could take the pounding on some roads. Ouch! I’ve lightened the car a little by removing the sound deadener and a few other superfluous parts, such as AC and power steering. I’ve added 205/50 15 Falken Azenis on Kosie K1 Racing wheels. Mopar high rate springs, stock Koni struts. Header/Intake with stock muffler and an UDP.
