i have the same exact model legacy you do and i saw a comment you posed on annother page and saw that you seem to know about these cars more than i do. i have an automatic also but i really want to swap it to 5 speed. do you have any suggestions on what transmissions i can use? with what i know from subaru's most parts seem pretty universal so i was wondering if a impreza 2.5rs trany would work. if you know what i could use it would be a great help. thanks Ian
