I then decided to try and see what it would take to get the seats to fit. I yanked the passenger seat (and found a billfold underneath amongst other items, empty though) and started measuring. The original tracks will not work as they are powered for tilt/rake, so they have large stampings that go up into the seat. The universal rails that come with the new seats will work after I make a spacer to bring them out 3” total, but I also need to come up with a bracket to place the seatbelt receptacle on.
