One Year Down

Well did my first year in auto x as a novice. I ran ESP because of the transmission and bolt ons, and it hurt me alot in the overall pax, but I guess I was fast enough for the Novice Pax. I won the Novice Champion ship for the year and ESP class (unofficially, since i’m not allowed running Novice Pax)

While the season was beginning I quickly decided to get rid of my factory leather seat for a Corbeau FX1 fixed back seat so I didnt move around as much. Also I had some subframe connects installed to help with the good ole mustang chassis twist.

Mid season I went from 1- negative camber to about 2.1 Negative with 5.6 caster a neutral toe. I was running Eagle F1 275/40/18’s for all but I believe 3 events. The last 3 I ran very old (4 years or more) used Kumho V710 275/40/17’s I picked up for $200. What a diference the old R comps did for my car.

At the end of the season I improved my time on an Identical course we run twice a year by about 1.3 seconds! I was very pleased! that run also helped me win the novice points pax over a STS miata by 3 points!

What a great year i’ve had in 2011, now i’m almost ready for 2012!
