1971 Chevrolet Concours Wagon

27

This is a factory 4spd.(M21) BBC 402ci. wagon! with disc brakes. now its 408ci about 500hp. i’ve destroyed a couple of 12 bolts, muncies, and of course u-joints. so i had to upgrade. the new trans is a Jerico WC4RR. the gear ratio is custom so the first three equal 3:89 .’cus i love drag racing. i put a Strange S-60 rear w/ 3:54’s. can’t wait to hit 5800 in 4th!!! B’ville here i come. the suspension is a combo of Southside lift bars, Global West, and Hotchkis parts. with GM Bcar spindels and 1LE brakes. the drag race wheel combo : BFG 275 on Cragers. Street and Open track Mini Lites w/BFG g-Force. am a truck driver so to me this is a go kart. plus have you seen what OE’s are doing now days? i figured @ 3800 lbs. i’ve got Chargers , G8’s and the like by 200 - 400 lbs. so why not?!

Sure gotta lot more grunt than the `71 302 Malibu I had in high school. I like the color.

Factory four-speed, big-block wagon? Nice score.

Diggin the wagon! I had a 71' sedan I found for cheap but never got to play with. It was just a lowly 307/TH350 car.

Absolutley bad ass! Gotta love a wagon, especially one with a good amount of hustle.

Holy crap, that's cool! Bonus points for the period correct Cragars.
