Yes, that's a 74 TCS, Twin Cam Special, 5 speed. Rebuilt engine 5K miles ago, so you probably have 10K left until the head has to come off for something. Probably close to FMV if it runs good.

Back in the day, I had a GF that drove one of these. Burned to the ground on US1 in Coconut grove. The mark on the pavement was known as Lois's memorial for years.

I had one back in 1974 and would LOVE to own one again. Where is this car located and who do I contact about it?
Thanks

Gee... you just really love these cars, don't you... or are you just trying to horde them all for yourself?
A Europa is on my "someday...." list... right up there with my Spitfire "GT4" creation... Granted, part of me says a used Elise would be cheaper in the long run...

Wow, that's both awesome and semi-affordable . I'd buy that. It'd be worth going into debt when something expensive inevitably breaks, just to bomb around in a cool, classic Lotus for a while, then to have a cool, classic Lotus-shaped lawn-sculpture.

the real question is:
is it worth paying 7k for a nice stock one, versus paying 1k for a bombed out one plus 3k for your choice of SR20det or boxer or whatever engine swap, plus 1k for sweet wheels and tires, 1k for paint and body work, and 1k for sundry parts to kitbash some sort of rear suspension back on it?
thats a tough choice.
The phone number is actually 937-231-0193. I drive by this almost every day.
