I think we have become a bunch of uncompetitive wimps. Planning on beating 85% of you with my super low prep build that I just purchased. We only have a week left before everyone should be prepared.
Show me what's going to beat this "sweet" G35.
This pile of scaffold poles and rust is trying really hard to "Beat" a Challenge DNS. Actual legit current status of car picture shown.
I'm going for the "Participant" trophy this year so expect your functional car to have a leg up.
Imagine losing to a Saturn S-series. That's going to be a surprising amount of you, especially when I spray my way into the 15's!
Squishy fishy is going down. That all I got Neuman.
I plan to beat Andy with a filthy, poorly spray painted honda civic.
Due to a closing of the loophole, the Zoomboni will be running exhibition class. I'm looking for FTD in the autocross and who knows what in the drags, maybe 15's maybe 12's I honestly don't know.
I plan to beat andy from our cabin in Michigan because I don't even need to be there to be faster than a rotten clapped out g35.

You are not the boss of me!
My car hasn't moved under its own power at any point in 2021, preparedness be damned.
losing to a car isn't special. But many of you are going to enter into a rare class of having lost to a canoe.

Here are the sounds of my g35 next to my 2030 challenge car that I purchased in 2017?
In reply to Robbie (Forum Supporter) :
We already all lost the autocross to a Jeep... now a canoe. I'm not telling my friends when I get home.

Hey that trophy is mine, I'll beat you for it!!
In reply to classicJackets (FS) :
I know we could all use more garage space, but damn dude.
...taking notes...adds canopy to shopping cart...
In reply to maschinenbau :
My wife is a saint, and we're both excited for 2 cars to go so that almost everything in this picture outside the garage can go too

Look into Sun Shades on Amazon or whatnot. You've got to put in the anchors and such, but generally a greater variety of sizes.
In reply to maschinenbau :
I'm adding "garage behind house" to my shopping list. You wouldn't notice any of this from the street unless you were really nosey.
In reply to Andy Neuman :
Ah, I hoped without Datsaniti's presence I might not hafta listen to a VQ this year
I have such confidence in my build that I'm not even going to Florida with it. And I even took the measures needed last night to ensure that it'll pass tech.
In reply to Andy Neuman :
I'm confused. Are you suggesting that I willingly subject myself to the exhaust sound of a G35?
In reply to gumby :
Don't worry I'm still young and can help push your car around the autocross. If your car was ahead of mine you wouldn't have to listen to it
I can't help my exhaust rusted off
Yes I built an entire custom racecar around this engine and yes I still think they sound terrible.
I'm bringing ear plugs and am going too hand them out like candy at halloween so no one has to listen to the worst sounding engine on the planet.
In reply to bobzilla :
For which one? We have a VQ, Subaru, Saturn, Honda, and some kind of crotch rocket engine just in this thread alone. I hope someone brings a V8 to give us some relief!
I had a Lehman Brothers accountant review my challenge budget for purchases, FMV and recoup.

You're gonna want ear plugs for that too. At least, on the driver's side.
