So, which one of you Bob Costass is gonna buy something for a parking lot build?
Don't look at me, I've got a car payment now.

I'll buy, just that I know I won't have any time to devote to it. To be honest return PLB isn't feasible at this point. Either will be over budget or not enough time to get needed parts or both. The other MR2 might work but everyone wants to redeem the past.

LOL.
At this rate...yeah that's the PLB this year lol
Y'all better hope the pro drivers are bringing some magic this year!
let's spice it up! Ive got $20 for anybody who beats the Spyder, in autocross, while driving their own $2k car! (Disclaimer: if the car breaks before I complete a run, I do NOT have $20 for everyone )

Spot me 3 seconds on your slicks vs my 200tw?
I'll spot you 3 seconds if I get $20 for beating the spread :)
In reply to Lof8 - Andy :
You spot me 3 seconds to make up for the tires. I get to use a friend driver that's not an official pro. Your Andrew vs. my Andrew.

It's on! $20 to the victor!
In reply to Lof8 - Andy :
Sorry I was all elbows and shiny happy people today. Notice that no one else is confident enough to jump in? So in addition to the $20 I get to point out that you lost to a 57 year old car right?

My magic has been enough the last 2 years.
Guess we will see what I end up in this year.
The new event classses have me pretty excited to see how many complicated, impractical, trailer-dependent builds that took hundreds of man hours will end up losing to a stock daily driver Miata.

Notice my offer is for anyone driving their own car! I hope you get nothing but piles of junk to drive! Lol. Spyder has more ponies and more grips this year.

Oh, I am quite aware of how you chose your words. They may all be piles for the whole day but just remember it isn't over until my last run. Haha
See you Saturday buddy.

id love to save a competition run or 2 for late in the day. However, that drastically cuts into the number of fun runs I get to do. "Non pro driver" problems. Maybe I'll try to get you behind the wheel of the Spyder at some point for a comparison. How tall are you? My seat has no adjustment.

The real question is will you be fast enough for FTD. Given that this car is showing up, it could be tough! :D

I feel attacked!

Don't forget Kyle is bringing the vette cart which is well sorted, and he has a ton of seat time in it and is super fast.

Not sure if it'll matter if the FSAE car is running reliably, especially if they took of the restrictor and geared it appropriately.
Not sure what it will do in drag, though.

Would be happy to give the Spyder a go. I'm 5' 9" wear 30-32" length pants but I'm sure we could shove a jacket or two behind me if needed.

Good point. I am pretty sure the vette cart is good for a 12 in the 1/4. I am interested to see what the SAE car runs.
