That might be a lot of miles for one of those.

At our local autocrosses there is a blue Le Car that races in FSP. Yup, they rolled it.

I'm almost embarassed to say I bought one new in '82 or '83, the first year of square headlights. I drove the wheels off it! I made removable supports for each bumper that would carry a folded up hang glider, that thing went through the woods to launch sites, carried a beagle, gear and a picnic basket without blinking.

I put 85,000 miles on it under my [ahem] maintenence program, never a problem.

Then again I'm not always normbal.

Those cars are worth $$$ here. I have seen several sell for $3500-$4k in no better shape than that one is.

The best part about running a LeCar for $200X or BABE or LeMons would be the theme.

Everything would be "Le-whatever" You could wear berets and hit each other with baguettes while wearing Napoleon costumes and drinking wine and waiving white flags. Someone needs to do it!
