Citroen 4CV on Columbus CL

Challenge priced. Not mine. If I were selling a Citroen, it would include a trunk full of white flags. . .

That's a Renault . . .

I assume you're thinking of a Citroen 2CV

Yeah, the ad's right, I saw CV, immediately thought 2CV, Citroen. Ok, it's a Renault. I'm really "supposed" to be working, and damn work "distracted" me during my hourly cruise through Craigslist. . .

I'd rat-rod it.

Those were just a few goose-steps away from being German cars.

I think it's a scam. This ad has been popping up all over the place. It was taken down off of CL out in Cali...

I'm not 100% sure, but in many parts of Europe, before and for a short time after the war, cars where classed by horsepower...for purposes of road taxes (I'm not making this up, but I'm also not completely sure how this worked/how the horsepower was measured). Citroen had a few "CV" models, including an 11 and 15.
