Not mine, autotragic...

1992 Subaru SVX, rare sports car, 3.3L V6 boxster engine with 230 Horse Power, automatic
allwheeldrive, RUNS GOOD, has many options, this car was well ahead of its time. Very low
97,113 original miles. NEEDS BODY WORK and minor details fixed like exhaust leak, ac recharged,
and such. You can drive this car like it is, restore it, or buy it for the low mileage drive train,
either way it is a great deal. Do your research on this collectable car before calling and
you will see that I am selling it cheap. First $1350 cash/Firm Price, drives it home.

mmmm.... Liquid Silver, my second favorite color of SVX.
This would be made of win, with a legacy H-6, Turbocharged, 5 speeded, slick tire-shodded, and stiff-suspensioned...

This looks like a great opportunity for a 5 speed SVX Challenge car with full trim.
The working auto trans is EASILY worth more than the purchase price of the car, so the recoup could almost zero out the car (with a bit of negotiating). Add a $500 parts car with a manual (virtually ANY '90's vintage Subie), $100 worth of scrap steel, and a $75 junkyard driveshaft from an outback, and you'd have a running 5 spd SVX for $675, leaving $1335 for suspension, tires, and nitrous (yes, the stock motor will handle it- I've done it).
Afterwards, you'll have a fabulous street driver!

What do those things weigh in at? Arent they heavy for a car of that vintage? Not so much now days...

3600 lbs in full street trim, IIRC
Mine ran deep 13's in the 1/4. Weighed a lot less, but I only used a 75 hp nitrous shot. Could easily handle a lot more.

I think 3375 is too low for that 1992 LS (or LS-L) Paul. My street trim 1995 L AWD weighed in at 3478 w/the GC/Koni suspension and that was without a sunroof, power seats, power seat belts and the rest of the touring options on the 1992.

SVreX, do you have a link to information on yours? These are showing up around me and I'd like to look at a well sorted example.
If SVreX is selling his 5 spd car just buy his. I'll bet it's in tip top condition and he won't screw you.
I don't think he's selling his, I just keep reading about it in multiple posts and I want to see what it's all about, it sounds awesome.

He has offered it for sale in the past. I don't know the absolute price, but I know it is more than $2009.

Thanks for the compliments, guys.
Yes, mine is for sale, but I haven't been trying to hard. Partly because it is more than $200x, partly because I've been too busy to dig it out from behind the garage and get the pics, etc to run an ad, partly because I'm going to sell it for half what I've got in it, but mostly because...
...I really like it, and I'll miss it!

Hi Todd!
I'm sure Todd is right on this. So, the SVX is somewhere between 3375 and 3600- fat by most anyone's standards. It's still got the guts to move it along!
