I thought these had all rusted into oblivion by now....and this guy has two of them? Luckily, he's far away and the car in question has automatic, but still.....

that car has been making the CL rounds for a while.

still it seems $1499 is a lot of money for this car.

Wow, never seen one of those before!

Kinda spaceship-like from this angle -

Still, $1500 is a lot of money for an old Datsun that isn't a 510 or a Z.

These cars look somewhat weirder in their "home market" sheetmetal. The JDM 200SX has a front "loop" bumper like those on early '70s Chryslers and the grille is a bit different, too, actually being a bit recessed. The rear bumper hugs the rear sheetmetal, again sort of like an early '70s Detroit car. I always thought the dashboard/instrument panel on these was kind of strange: It sort of swoops down the right (or in RHD cars, the left) and the gauges are stuck in sort of tunnels while the large piece that sort of holds them in place is bowed out....sorry, not very well described. The think the idea was to give this car the look or at least elements of an arrow.

I think they look great. If i'm honest though, a lot of that is because nobody else has one.
