NMNA, etc...
I remember my aunt had a 4cyl 5 speed 200SX. It was purple and had the electronic voice warning thing. As an 8 year old, it was the coolest car ever!

there are two cars that i am obessed with or addicted to. one is the BMW e24 and the other is the Nissan 200sx (s12) i have five. these are the nissan "redhaired stepchild" the s13 and s14 out shine them.
i have a notch which i am turning into a SE they never made a SE notch. they made 10,000 total of the SEs. 5000 a year in 87 & 88 so the car could be used in rally.
i have two major projects on going with these cars one is a SE i picked up in York Pa that i have totally gone thru and have installed a procharger supercharger intercooler plus a lot of other goodies it has not been on dyno let but we figure 350hp to 450hp.
the other is a partial tube chassis car powered by a vk this one has been over 2 years now but we are getting close i figure another year
this one i found in West Va its in the warehouse waiting to be restored
this the one with the supercharger found in York pa
after a little paint work
every collection of 200sx needs a turbo model and yes i have one waiting for a little tlc
my pride and joy i bought this one in Washington state and had shipped across country sold it and was so heart broke bought it back for $500.00 more than i sold it for.
am i sick or what
Cool car, but the automatic kills it, and it looks like it has some rust hiding in nooks and crannies. I'd say it's overpriced by about $800
If someone picks this up, I think I've still got some corner(?), bumper(?) and perhaps side marker lights sitting in garage for one of these.
For some reason I always buy the base model cars - steel wheels....I wanted the turbo 1985 but couldn't cough up the rest of the money. I had this for 9 years - 125,000 miles.

I bought a new se in 87 and really liked it and then started to collect them later in life.
You wouldnt want to sell that window sticker would you
I saw one of those roadsters on a flatbed in Brandon, FL Friday night. It was yellow, in pretty rough shape, missing some front end parts.
There was a sorta running sorta driving, sorta stopping 5spd example near me for sale for $400 about a year ago. Unfortunately I had to pass. I was a very sad panda when it sold...

In reply to Datsun310Guy:

Please keep talking about this 310. I need to hear more.
Some guys hit 50 years old and restore the first car they bought - GTO, Z28, Challenger, Cutlass 442, 'cuda. Me? Datsun 310GX. Ugh.

it is in Pittsburgh Pa always has been garage kept one family owned the owner is a long time personal friend of mine. this car has no radio or AC never did. he will not take less than 3k for it. none of his kids want it and he does not have time for it anymore because of the stick. he has all the books and paperwork for the car. it was one of the last Datsuns sold by Barton Datsun in Pgh before they went out of business ALWAYS DEALER SERVICED he had lifetime oil changes and inspections from the dealer and the next two Nissan dealers have honored it (how cool is that)
On the way too long list of cars I want. Briefly thought about doing one for my FSP build, but even harder to find, and everything I could find says even heavier than my Celica.
There are better ones out there for less money.

That's just the most cursory of looks.
my kid has a tranny to go in one of those. Think it came from a 240sx or something. he had one and was gonna put a more modern drivetrain in so gathered parts then caught BMW fever and sold everything but that tranny.
More money, but this one looks dang nice.

This one looks clean. It might not be too hard to put it right. Hard to say. Auto problem as well, though.
