OK, so I've made the painful decision to sell my car that's in my avi. I'm going to put it on other racing forums, probably Ebay too, but wanted to post it here for anyone who may be interested.

As the title says, it's an '87 FX16 GT-S. It ran in SCCA ITB. I have the log book, and it last raced in Sept. 2007, by the guy I bought it from. He said he did a few track days in '08 and '09, but no racing. I bought it about 18 months ago. I'm selling it because I've never gotten to use it. Budget and time have gotten in the way. So instead of just letting it sit and hoping I can get it out once, I'd rather let it go. I'll get a more street friendly car that I can use, and if I can get that car to the track, great. Plus, I have hopes of getting some seat time with a LeMons team this year too. I have the title to the car also. It's still in the PO name, but it's signed and ready to go.

The car starts, runs and drives well. I just fired it up yesterday to take these pictures. Since I've never raced it, I can't tell you much about how it is on track. I've only driven it on the street once, for about 5 miles. I had it at a local road race shop last July, as I had hoped to run it in September. They said it was ready to go and were going to sign off on the tech sheet for me. Here's the shop it was at. http://www.phoenixperformance.net/ I can't find the receipt, but I spent about $750. They re-wrapped the heat shield on the starter, did front rotors and pads, I think rear rotors too. Brake fluid flush. I forget what else.

I've got a bunch of spare stuff to go with the car. 5 extra triangle rims like the ones on it. Mounted tires are old, but I was going to use them for a HPDE shake down day. I have an extra transmission, springs, and a bunch of other misc stuff. It's really solid for an old Japanese car. I've garaged it, and the PO garaged it and sometimes kept it in an enclosed trailer.

Here are pictures of the car. The only thing that doesn't go with it is the red Kirkey seat. That's a spare I bought, and I'm probably donating it to the LeMons team. http://s1197.photobucket.com/albums/aa424/Klayfish/FX16/

Wasn't sure what to ask on price, so I tried to look around at other old race cars out there. Price is $1600 for everything. Car is located near Allentown, PA.

It sold last night. Anyone running SCCA in the northeast will likely see it. The guy who bought it was the general manager and chief instructor for the Stock Car Experience, which is the program where you get to drive a NASCAR style car around Pocono Raceway. He also runs SCCA and had been running Formula Fords, now running ITB.
