Hmmm, sorry to hear that's it's been so hard to unload it. There's not really a lot of rallycrossers around though, even on mr2oc.com. Doing a engine bay cleaning probably wouldn't hurt. How much would it cost to re-plastidip the car? Having a clean bay and a shiny new "paint job" would hook a lot more eager young'uns than it's current state.
True enough, if I'm going to touch the thing at all I'll go full bore and redo the plasti-dip, rebuild the heads, etc. to try for max profit. My health currently makes any work on the car incredibly unappealing though.
And BlueJ, the motor doesn;t need to come out, you can pull the heads with it in the car- there's still time to avoid becoming yet another drone in the e30 brigade!
