I'm tossing this out as a feeler since I really don't want to get rid of it. Long story short, I have a one car garage and 5 cars....and I want to turn my Miata into a track car. I feel much more comfortable at speed in the Miata that I do a 240. I figure I'll cut my losses now before I go further.
About the car- 70 240Z that is stripped to the shell. New floors welded in. Aside from the floors, the body was in very good shape when I got it. No frame rot. Ground control coil overs w/ Tokico Illuminas. The suspension has all been sand blasted, painted, new bearings, and poly bushings installed. New front calipers and rotors.
Parts not installed: 2 engines- the stock L24 w/ E31 (numbers matching and disassembled) and an F54 short block. NIB DP racing camber plates. Q45 diff. New pass. fender. Everything that was taken off the car was put in my attic and labeled...including all the bolts. The whole car is there, nothing was tossed. The dash is in very good shape and only has a 6in crack in the center.
Price: $2010 which is just what the suspension overhaul cost me. I don't think that even pays me $5/hr for all the work I've done. If you're serious, let me know and I'll get pictures. I've sold cars before and I don't want to waste time taking 200 pictures for tire kickers.
Car is located in WNY.
Some more parts I forgot about- EFI intake (the one with separate runners) and something you maybe be able to persuade off me- Cylinder head from Bob Leitzinger's race car.
