NMNA. Very obvious it will need a lot of work, and wish that there were picture of the interior to see how much work that would take too. And engine is unfortunately a complete unknown at the moment.

That is a false economy. Buying a non running automatic turd for 850 when daily driver quality ones are under $2000 all day long around these parts
Daily driver 124s are more than a couple grand. That said, that car will need floors, etc. I would never consider an auto box 124. Not really a big fan of the 2000 series either.

At one point I was looking for a 2 liter EFI car as a donor so my RSS feed still spits out all the for sale 124's in the PNW every day. Lots of drivers under 2K. Nicer cars in the 3K range are common.
All the magazines predicted these cars taking off in value but it just hasn't happened yet.

There's a world of difference between what you can get/find in the PNW vs. on the edge of the Rust Belt here. That said, I'm not even considering this myself- just thought it was interesting and worth passing on.
