'82 Rabbit Truck

I buddy of mine (also a Challenge competitor) is selling his 1982 Rabbit truck to help finance his next autocross car. I don't see many of these around so I thought I'd put a link here. I've seen the truck, it has some surface rust from paint scratches, but nothing too serious that I remember. I think it needs taillight lenses.

He wanted to ask less, but I talked him into bumping up the price. Blame me for the higher price. I also told him he would regret selling it for years and years.

Tell him to bring it to Ohio, he can get twice that up here.

There aren't light rust ones here. Looks nice for the price.

Yes, he sold it in less than 24 hours of placing the ad. He got 20 phone calls right away. The buyer lives about 2 hours away and has been looking for one for about 6 months to do a V6 swap. The buyer also mentioned he was seeing rusted out crap with asking prices of $3,000. Good thing I told my buddy to ask for more money. He was planning to list it for what he paid for it years ago.

Wow. That didn't last long.
