It's just a guess, but there might have been more interest if there was a brand name visible (like Sinclair, or Mobil).

Only says "Half Gallon Liquid" and patent number 1,664,560.

I collect a lot of stuff, but not that. (sorry, I have nothing constructive to add).

I deal in antiques and old junk. Honestly, here in the midwest anyway, that might bring $15-$20 for the pair. FYI

I find antique stuff and get excited about selling it and look it up on ebay. My stuff "might" be in the $2.00-$3.00 range.

Then I list a bunch of junk 240Z door handle parts and get $17.27 for stuff that was sitting in a coffee can in my basement.
