/6 and 904 automatic. The drivetrain will outlive the rest of the car. I can't believe it's so non-rusty. If this were closer, I'd be headed to the MVA right now to get tags for it.

If that were within a state I'd be on my way. Great price!

2jz-gte swap. Tell me that wouldn't be awesome.

Mmm wagon. Thank goodness it's a state and a great lake away. I would be in trouble if I brought it home.

If that was anywhere near MA, I would have some explaining to do when the wife got home. I have dreams of doing a turbo Megasquirt Slant 6 in one of these.

Hell, if it has a Torqueflite 904, I could toss in a Jeep 4.0L Turbo, and I'm familiar with those. The AMC Spirit we took to the Challenge has an AMC/Jeep-bellhousing 904 in it.

My first car was my parent's '77 Aspen wagon with a warmed over 318. My sister decided to bounce it off of a bunch of trees in a thunderstorm and it was never the same. I've often dreamed of finding another one. Curious if any of the modern MOPAR power plants would fit easily....

My aunt had a '76 Volare Premier wagon. The area around the fuel filler had completely rusted away by 1979.

I found a pic of the floor with the carpet pulled away.

At least that's what I'm telling myself to keep from crying.

I remember those, but I didn't remember how poorly executed the conversion was.

Bad pictures but that one is also. It would still make a perfect winter car then $2015 afterwards
