Good god that's pretty. I knew there was a reason I'm going back to work.
Not a fan of huge fins but I'm kinda glad that car escaped the derby.
Got any photos of the engine?
Interesting way of securing giant hulk to the trailer.

I was just thinking, "Why the hell didn't he just cross-anchor the suspension." Looks secure and like it could get complicated either way. To each their own.
I just clicked on the ad and now it says $1100...
Someone should buy it just because of the robby the robot conical instrument panel. I would buy it for the cross flow .....

not exactly. she kinda saw it one day a few weeks later when the garage was open then found out for herself.
I REALLY want this... Would make a nice tow-vehicle for me,. But I am sticking to my decision to get at least ONE of my project running, before I buy another.
But if gets under a grand, I may have to reconsider...
Hauling a beast that big with it's worn out uber cloud floaty suspension can be a nightmare unless the whole car is tied down. When I hauled my '66 Town and Country home, I started out with just the suspension tied down.
The first bump in the road, the whole car started swaying about . I ended up with it tied down just like that '61.

Well as they say, better to ask forgiveness than permission. She cool with it?
yeah i get lots of rope to hang myself with before she starts getting pissed off. i actually ran a pre-purchase idea by her the other day and got green lit, so now i'm on the lookout for a 93-96 fleetwood brougham.
