Paging Seth. This is the one.

I'm trying to figure out what is going on with the seatbelts. Ad says it's an '89 and it has '89 wheels and interior, but it appears to have a shoulder-belt from a motor-mouse car attached to the center console. I'm confused.

Other than that, it looks like a solid start. Paint the front mud guards with Duplicolor trim black, polish the paint, and clean the wheels...I bet it will look very nice.

Look out for rust in the bottoms of the front fenders behind the wheels. I think I see it in the pics.

Front bumper isn't even sagging. This is IS the one. Hodamn. Juant.

Also- was the motormouse thing a one year only? My car is an 88 and I'm fairly sure it has MM belts- it's been a while though.

Go do recon with about 1200 in hand and come back with it. You'll thank us later.

I'm here, just saw this! JTspellS, if you're willing to do recon then have at it! If it checks out, I'd be willing to make the drive. Especially if I could talk him down to closer to a grand.

This looks an awful lot like the other one you were going to check out for me. Even has the Brown's dealer sticker on the back, which I think the other one did.

Shift linkages and oil pan gasket sound pretty darn easy. Can you still get the shift linkages or new bushings easily?

Well that sucks. I texted the guy for some more pics and info, and he replies, "Oh, I sold it last week to a good friend and removed the ad. Sorry." I told him he should double check, because I just looked at the ad 5 minutes earlier. Grr.

Seth, you need to get this one. Have it shipped. This guy doesn't appear to know what he has.

That looks nice. Red isn't my favorite, but I'd suffer through it. Anyone near CO Springs? How much of a hassle is shipping? Cost? A fly and drive would be a blast, I even have a buddy in Pueblo that I haven't seen in a while. Unfortunately, I don't have the time/time off to make that happen.

I had mine sent from Oregon to Illinois for $800.

Red's not my favorite either, but I would pick good paint in a bad color over the opposite.

BTW, when are we going to get a special subforum just for these on here? Seems like there's more talk about them here than there is on MX6.com.

Honestly man.... that's a 2 day drive. If you can get a flight out after work on Friday you could be back by Sunday evening.

I went a bit further for the MSM, left on Thursday morning, didn't leave Oceanside with the car until about 2pm that afternoon, spent a day and a half at FM, and was still home in Indy by Sunday evening.
