I want to get a race seat for my rallycross car on the cheap. Stock seats aren't cutting it.
It can be faded, purple, green, yellow, black, red...whatever just cheap. Fixed back, or otherwise, it doesn't really matter to me as long as It's supportive. I'm really skinny so, while something on the wide side would be better than what I've got now, the narrower the better.
I'd rather not have an aluminum seat.
Close or in NC would be great.
If it's nice, and you're interested, I have a MOMO Millennium steering wheel and a E30 hub to match in great condition to trade.

Ooh, what are you going to do with the Miata seat and mount?
Sorry, don't have a race seat.
Have you tried a Schroth Harness? I put one in my old Escort Gt, haven't moved it over to my ZX2 yet.
I have the pair of NB Miata seats and stock Miata rails that I'll be selling soon. They sit me too high in the Protege with the Pro rails, higher than the stock seats and I my helmet rests against the roof. On the Miata rails in the Protege, they sit too low, I can't see over the dash.
I haven't considered the Schroths but I'll look into that. Maybe that'll be the solution. The Escort GT seats are vastly superior to the Protege ones, though, if you can believe it.
I can believe it. I have a set of those as well as MX3 and ZX2 seats and used to have a BG 323. The MX3 seat is in the ZX2 right now for helmet clearance reasons. I'm 6' and like to sit as upright as possible when 'racing.'
I have a cobra seat, that fits your description. No mounts. It's a basic cobra seat, with a steal frame. Model unknown...maybe monaco. It can side or bottom mount, fixed back. cutouts for a five point harness.
I got it from someone on here for the trade of some rims.
I have a 35 inch waist and it's a touch too narrow to be comfy for me.
Oddly enough, I could use a steering wheel, but don't need the hub. I'd trade you straight up, though I think the shipping will stink, as I'm up in vermont. No pictures handy at the moment, but could have some by the weekend. PM me if you are interested.

I have a race seat that I'm selling, but as it's a Sparco Pro 2000 I'm not sure you would consider it cheap. It was in my Miata and is pretty narrow as I'm also skinny. I'm asking $450, but make me an offer and we'll see.
Thanks!

That's a little steep for me right now. Thanks though.

Thought it might be. Oh well!
