For GRMers and challenge entrants, make me a reasonable offer on these wheels. Seriously, I'm not looking for a set price or anything, as long as you can pick them up or meet me reasonably close, I'm flexible. Although a trade for something better suited for the ranger would interest me greatly.
Anyway, onto the wheels
They looks like that, and there are 4 of them, 3 with decent tires one with belts showing. 2 tires are 275/35, they're both good Chinese rubber. The other 2 are 235/50 sumitomos, ones good the other isn't.
They're not perfect but they hold air, I'm not even sure the brand because from my searching Ford never made these in an 18x10, but they've been balanced before and could be again. I don't know the weight, but they're a hell of a lot lighter than 16" steelies with snows on them.
I just can't find any tires I like in that size for the ranger, and I'm selling the Vic, so these might as well go.
Located in Greensburg, PA. I'll get a group shot front and back tomorrow or whenever it isn't raining again.
Man, those would be excellent on my truck. Do you happen to know the offset, or can you measure the backspacing?
In reply to oldopelguy :
I don't know it off hand, but I'll measure it tomorrow and report back with the pictures.
In reply to RevRico :
I measured 6 1/8" back spacing. I laid a 4 foot level diagonally across the back, and measured to the hub pad using my square.
There's an inside shot. Sorry, it decided to snow, I wasn't motivated enough to dig up and organize them all for a group photo. I did measure at the middle of the wheel, the tools are just sitting out of the way in the photo.
Those should fit the Ranger and look killer! Have you tried them on it?
In reply to KyAllroad (Jeremy) :
I have, and they do. My problem is decent A/T or M/T tires are pushing $300 each in the size I need for them to work right, and I just can't afford it.
Currently, the tires are 4 inches shorter than those on the ranger, and that is a headache I can't handle.
Hit up CL. I just looked locally to me and found a ton of 18" take offs for under $300 a set.
If I still had my Ranger I'd definitely be getting these from you.....but it's gone now.
These are still sitting around if anyone is still looking
Trying to talk myself into a set of wheel for a car with a blown head gasket. Still trying....
The inside of a spoke will have the wheel specs cast in, for width O.D. and offset.
I'd be interested just to have drag wheels for the challenge car, but I don't think they'd fit. I'd need a pretty dished offset I think.
How far from where the wheel contacts the hub, to the inner lip of the wheel?
6 1/8" from the hub to the lip
I had a picture in my build thread and on Twitter of how they looked mounted on the Vic and how far they stuck out, but it's gone. Not in my build thread, on my website hosting, in my phone, or on Twitter.
Thanks. I'll check later tonight or tomorrow and see how close that would be.
Dang, these would be perfect for a square 275 setup on the RX7. Not that such a combo would fit under my front fenders right now, by a long shot, but it's what I'll need eventually if I want to be competitive in SSM.
Rev, what are you thinking on price? I really don't NEED another set of wheels taking up shelf space in my garage, but...
In reply to Furious_E :
What sounds fair to you? $200ish?
I traded a non running vehicle for the wheels, so as long as you're not trying to drop another one of those off, I'm open to offers.

I'm interested. And I'll be at the AHR rallyx on Sunday. Will PM you.
I'll make this a little easier. I'll bring the wheels to rallycross in Meyersdale, PA this Sunday, that's sort of in the middle of all of us, and certainly a shorter ride than coming out to my house. Whoever is there can take them home, and if there's more than one person we can flip a coin or figure it out from there.
In reply to RevRico :
Well, now that you mention it, I do still have a non-running, not even rolling Camaro carcass I could tempt you with...
I think that's a more than fair price, but I probably ought to let someone else grab them who has a more immediate use for them. I'd be buying them to stick on a shelf for at least a year.
These moved onto their new home today.
