NMNA. I'd be in if he includes the green comfy chair!

Garage stored. Great condition project car. Some restoration. No bondo in the steel. Fiberglass body has minor repairs. Interior is in very nice condition. High quality Sony sound system
No engine, radiator or gas tank included.
Many extra parts. Brake parts, 2 extra transmissions.. extra boots for driveshafts and steering linkage.
I had one exactly like that. Sold it to a friend 15 years ago and he faded away. Last I heard it was up on blocks in his parents garage in Taunton ma.
That thing is clean. I would hate to be looking for an engine and gas tank for it though.
That really is nice. I'd like pics of the underside, though. Finding an engine wouldn't be fun at all.
I’m thinking Harley v-twin for some reason.
In reply to Pete Gossett :
You want to make it slower?

To be fair it’s not very fast right now. The thought of revving the engine incessantly while people look around for a Harley would be mildly entertaining for a brief period too.
Seriously though I’ve always wanted a Sonett, such cool & oddball cars.
I was thinking more Honda Sabre engine. 100+hp, shaft drive. Small fuel cell.
Looks like a sweet car and seems like a great deal! I’ve always loved these.
On the Saab FB group where I saw this there was minor discussion on possible engine swaps. Geo Metro turbo, Dodge Colt turbo or an Ecoboost were mentioned.

OK. I get that. Like when I was living in Spain and that damned harley that would wake me every morning turned out to be a 2CV.

I think an Ecoboost would have about the same odds of fatality as a solid rocket booster.
For years now, I've had evil thoughts of building a tube frame chassis under one of those, with a high strung turboed 4 cylinder engine. Then gently dropping the body back over the car. Wonder if that shell would fit over a Legends car chassis??? Years ago I built an extensive roll cage on a Beetle pan. I had the body attached to the ceiling of the garage on ropes and pulleys. I could raise and lower the body as needed to work on the cage. The whole time I was building that thing, I wished it was on a Sonett.

Do it. By the way, how's the TR8 LS swap coming along? Haven't seen a post about it lately.
One of those Triumph inline 3 cylinders might be a nice candidate.
I feel like a high strung NA 13b or 20b would really make me happy in this car.
