Good:
Rebuilt engine with 110 psi on all faces of both rotors.
Rebuilt and new fuel system (tank was professionally refurbished, new fuel pump, new fuel filter, cleaned / new fuel injectors)
Car has only small spots of rust where paint has been scratched over the years.
Car has minimal dents and dings. Body and paint is 6 or 7/10
Interior is complete and mostly in good shape 8/10.
Bad:
Car was an automatic. It has the 3.90 LSD rearend. The trans mount is a fabricated piece and not the stock piece.
Car does not start reliably. I can not figure out what is going on with it. I am tired of messing with it and just want it to go to a good home.
The emissions and other devices have been removed including the OMP. I have most of the parts to put back if somebody was interested in doing so.
I can email pics later today if anybody is interested.
I'm in for pics. Ekeegan117 at Gmail. I'm assuming when you say "was" automatic that means it was converted to manual?
Sorry for the horrible lighting and potato pics.
I have a few items to add to the good and 1 to add to the bad list above...
Good:
New OBX stainless exhaust
Old RB style header
Brand new starter (which is why the car is sitting on a jackstand the way it is)
Turbo II aluminum hood
Bad:
Trim was removed from doors on the outside (I have the pieces to reinstall).
The carpet on the passenger side footwell looks bad in the pic (like it ripped or something). It is not. I have it pulled back to access the engine control unit.

yes, converted to a manual using the proper manual pedal box. It is using an NA type rx7 trans.
Does it have a sun roof? Hard to tell in that first pic, but looks like it does. And clearly it has 5 lug wheels...that means it has the bigger brakes, correct? Guessing that also means it's a Sport or GTU? Also, that's the viscous LSD, right?
You'll have to excuse my lack of RX7 knowledge, I'm fairly unfamiliar with the breed, just looking for a new home for the LS1 and T56 currently sitting in my wrecked Camaro.
Has a sunroof. Big brakes. Clutch type lsd. I have adjustable dampers for it.
We could work out a deal if I keep the engine and trans.
This car might be perfect for your intentions!
Yea, this is sounding pretty good haha. I'm not 100% decided on what direction I'm going with the swap (pretty much E36 vs FC at this point) but I'd definitely like to come check it out. I'll shoot you a pm in the next couple days and we can figure out when our schedules mesh up.
Starting issue might be leaky injectors. Yank the fuel pump relay, crank it a few times, then put the relay back in and see if it fires. That was my old 7's favorite trick.
Sent you a PM yesterday, just want to make sure you got it.
I think there's a good bit of win here :-)
Hey, still haven't heard from you. Shoot me an email at ekeegan117 at Gmail when you get a chance.
