I have an XJ6 sitting in my garage I'd like to get rid of. It has some convenience issues that'll make it hard to sell as a daily driver and I'm interested in fixing it, so before selling it to a scrapper, I thought I'd post it here first. I'm located in Marietta, GA.
Specs:
- 4.0L I6 engine
- 4-speed automatic transmission
- Long wheelbase version
Pros:
- Engine runs
- Transmission works
- Brakes work
Cons:
- External driver's side door handle is broken (the handle itself cracked in two)
- No A/C (freon leak, I believe)
- No radio
- Electrical short drains battery when sitting (while running, it's okay)
If there's any interest, I can take some pictures and post them up. The car also hasn't been registered or insured for about a year now, so test drives would be limited to my neighborhood.
