2003 MINI Cooper no drivetrain

Am I the only on that us thinking that I could hack out the firewall. Move the drivers seat to the back. Put some sort if v6 in it with boost. Weld back in a new fire wall using somthing similar to those found in a ford van to cover the motor. Then take a ford 9 inch from a pro four and transplant it with the four link and coilovers.

Probably need to augment the cooling somehow with a bigger Ra and a big oil cooler (fc rx7 cooler)

This is just my first plan. I still need to work out the trans but I am sure I can figure that out.

Speaking of that maybe take a v6 from a Camaro with the manual box as a unit. That would simplify things.

I've always badly wanted a mini-cooper built by Honda. I think they look super cool, but that drive-train/electrics scare me. It also has those window that roll down to open the door.

I think something along the same lines as dean, but instead rear-engine VQ with remote shift linkage - center mount the seat.

How cool would that be? Like a McLaren F1 or something.
