I have an 07 Focus ST (2.3L 5-speed). Recently I have installed the Ford Motorsports Shock and Strut package and new sway bar end links front and rear. I also just ordered the Massive rear upper control arms and adjustable rear Control Arms with their lower engine mount. My issue is the front suspension. I have 3 options to rebuild the lower control arms. First, I could go the low buck route by putting new Moog Ball Joints and Prothane bushings, while this is cheapest, I am afraid of how much work it would take and I don't have a press to remove and install the bushings. Next, I could get a Moog front end rebuild kit that has rubber bushings and all new parts from Rock auto. Last, I could get the CFM performance tubular front control arms. While this is the most robust and highest performance option, it also costs more than twice the Moog stuff. I plan to use the car as a daily driver and some auto crossing. Just wanted other opinions before pulling the trigger.

I would remove the arms and have a local shop install the parts you like.

Great suggestion. I will admit that I hadn't thought of that. My only issue would be to find someone willing to do that in my area (near Akron, Ohio).
