I was refering to this pic... optical illusion I guess.
We came back home tonight, going back Friday and staying for Saturday, not parking at the venue until the car needs to be collected.

I wonder if it's ok to take up two parallel parking spots if you feed both meters.

Just look at it and it's awesomeness.
My guess is... anywhere you dam please!
Nope, not at all
Probably 100 hp and 200 ft lbs at a glance.
I am researching some other easy mods, including turning up the maximum RPM to 3000, increasing the fuel flow and even injectors.
Sampson pulls like a train but runs out of RPM at 2700, which is 70 mph, a few more mph would allow for passing and easier cruising speeds, more horsepower is always welcome.
Info
6.6L (bore 4.4", stroke 4.4"):
160 hp (49 states): 160 hp @ 2600 rpm, 378 lb/ft tq @ 1600 rpm
170 hp (49 states): 170 hp @ 2600 rpm, 402 lb/ft tq @ 1600 rpm
170 hp (California): 170 hp @ 2600 rpm, 402 lb/ft tq @ 1600 rpm
Have you considered a larger tire. A more truck sized tire would drop the cruise RPM and probably up the fuel economy at the same time.
In reply to Toyman01:
that is what most of the guys with GM M1008's(Chevy K30) do, jumping to a 37" tire actually lets you do 75mph at less than 3000 rpm. 6.2 diesel + 3 speed Turbo 400 + 4.56 gears = 60ish mph max speed on stock 33"s
Bigger turbo is always better. I think the shorter tires look good on Sampson. Considering how close you were in that parking garage, the shorter tires do give you some options. BTW, how long is Sampson?
No 4x4, this is a tow rig, not an off-road rig, 11,000lbs will not be pulled out of a mud hole easily
aussiesmg wrote: Just under 7' high, estimated 22' long. The 6 door is only 1 ton F350, Sampson is an F600. Turbo install is going well, note the welded repair to the crack in the exhaust manifold
hence the "similar". 11ft bed was the similarity part. plus also still rediculous truck.
It's funny... BroDozer drivers get ripped on (mostly on target) and this thing as well as Clifford make those trucks look subdued. But not even once do I think that way about Aussiemg or his trucks.
These trucks serve a purpose especially Sampson. So that combined with what feels like a sense of humor, makes the BroDozer crew seem even more pathetic.
