When you get a part list together that you are selling off, shoot me a PM. I know someone who may be interested in various things.

I will have an entire car, minus the hood, front bumper, left fender, left inner fender and steering rack. Let me know what they are looking for.
Showed up this morning...
Began tearing it down
About $1500 in parts
My future track wheels
First part transfer
Ghetto target top
I just heard a story on a podcast that someone bought a C5, wrecked it the first time he took it on track, then parted it and made money. These are at their bottom dollar right now.
In reply to pimpm3:
Holy E36 M3 the other covers at the bottom of your auction are $78! Who would pay that much for something so ugly?

Corvette owners.
I have made progress, but I neglected to take pictures.
Here is where it sits tonight. I will be reinstalling the bumper and radiator Saturday.

We are known for wearing flashy gold chains, it's not exactly like we have good taste.
Got it buttoned up enough to drive it this past weekend. Runs and shifts well. Clutch grips nicely.
It needed an alignment horribly. Radiator leaks from end tank.
Ordered a replacement from Keystone for $115.00, it will be here tomorrow. Got it aligned this morning $50.00.
Here it is after alignment before loading it back on the trailer.
...for the trip to the body shop.
Let the selling commence...
Just sold the passenger stock headlight for $275.00
A little back story. I was not feeling the aftermarket terrible headlights from the parts car. Bought a pair of OEM headlights off craigslist for $180.
Put them on the car because they were from a 10k mile car. Sold the original from the blue car on ebay. I am $95 ahead on that transaction
Are you going to swap tail lights with the green car too? looks like some residue from the chrome louvers is remains on the blue car.
Love it - will be using your example to coerce my big brother into fulfilling his dreams of Vette ownership in a C5rather than the C4 he's been hunting.
So a quick update...
First the budget.
$3800 plus stupid copart fees. $4200.00
$2200 parts car
= $6400 in cars
$35 tow parts car to house
$180 craigslist headlights
$80 a/c condenser
$115 radiator
$50 alignment
$6860
-$275 headlight sale
-4.76 change found in blue car
$6580.24 total
Body shop is charging $2000 to fix everything else and paint the entire car.
$8580.24
I feel I can sell $2000 in parts off the parts car easily.
Shoot a fender is 200, an inner fender is 300, the rear bumper is 350, the door jambs go for 350 apiece, the abs pump is 650 to 1000...
My goal is sub 7k all in for a 2003 6 speed vette with 110k.
I am selling the SE-R track car for at least 5k. So for some work and the price of a challenge car I will will end up with something that I can grow into
Just ordered hawk pads front and rear on special from Tire rack $170 shipped.
While I had them on the phone I ordered two RE11's for the rear wheels.

That is a smoking deal! I would be hard pressed to buy materials for that cost.
Seriously, how did you get a $2000 price to paint an entire car? Around there that's easily a $5000 job.
That's what he quoted me. He does several cars a year for me that are flips. He does a lot of work for the dealers in the area, and custom stuff on older cars.
As far as the paint cost he has some sort of machine / rack thing that he mixes the paint with at the shop. He told me that saves quite a bit over getting it mixed off site.
