Congrats.  Just remember, Cave men raised babies 10,000 years ago so even you can do it.

Congrats man!

My son will be 2 this summer and I love him enough to do it again. You got this. (Feel free to message if you need an ear or shoulder). Best bit I can say is don't stress over today's norm with the kid, it will shift before you know it.

This week has been teaching me whole new respect for time management.

Was going to post a photo wearing my challenge shirt but I got peed on almost immediately after putting it on.

Back to work on Monday so I hope my wife gets this all figured out soon.

Ordered parts for the RX7 driveshaft over the weekend when I was bored before the baby.

Best thing that ever happened to me was becoming a father.

If a berkeley up like me can raise a decent kid, yours will be even better!

He is either really talented of missing the diaper or we have been really bad at putting the diapers on. Knowing me it's my bad diapering skills.

I don't if you realize it but making a baby is not a challenge build

In reply to Andy Neuman :

Best advice I can give on diapers is smell check is much safer than using a finger to pull the diaper out to look.  You're about to learn the true meaning of blowout.

If peeing out overnight gets to be problematic...  There are booster pads and overnight diapers with added absorbant material.

Try a few different brands. Different fits for different kids.

We got away with Target brand for #1.

The guys at work polished and waxed the ranger when I was away.

edit: switched from pampers to Huggies and the issue has been resolved for now.

Both our babies were super sensitive to diapers.  The only ones that were food were the ones from Sam's club with water wipes.

Good, not food.  That's gross.  Although our dogs love poopy diapers.

Speaking of dogs, get yourself a few rolls of dog poop pickup bags (the bigger ones). Put poopie diapers in those and tie them off.  It helps with the smell quite a bit.  #1 diapers can go in the can in the nursery, #2 goes directly out to the garbage can behind the house.

Driveshaft assembled, would you drive a car that I assembled the driveshaft? Should I have someone more skilled professional check my work?

How much of the trans yoke should be in the transmission? My engine mounts have another set of holes that could move the trans back another 3/4"

Move it back if possible

In reply to Patrick (Forum Supporter) :

I need to pull the engine for some clearance issues anyways. Not a fun engine transmission combo to move around.

edit: having the engine out will make cleaning up the fuel system easier and some wiring.

Edit 2: It is a weird feeling not having a full staff at work Memorial Day weekend. Having a hard time managing everything without having old data points that I can reference.

Realized the 4l80 is 3" shorter than the t56 normally used in a RX7 swap. I'll just find a challenge budget t56. wink

Currently I've misplaced the driveshaft to differential bolts. Do not want to pay for new ones.

Update sold the ranger.

Update went from extremely slow at work to uncontrollably busy.  Had this box save the customers wall this week. More free scrap metal.
