Had some family things happen and my Cali trip will be moved to mid June so that's when I'll bring back the Conquest. Will be bringing my 190e home in April from Texas instead.

Welp, I was given for free a 6 speed manual from a Mercedes C class. It was behind a 4cyl car. So, I started looking at supercharged Mercedes m111 engines (2.3 4cyl). Gah they're cheap. Maybe yank the supercharger stuff off and go turbo. If I can muster 300rwhp out of that, I'll be happy. Shouldn't be hard.  So that's option number 1 right now.

Ooh, I like this idea. Looks like a front sump oil pan too, should make life easier. Any plans for the steering?

We will see. Hopefully it isn't an issue, but it will be crying

Why go turbo? Crank the boost on the blower, port the head a bit, and enjoy.  At least thats what id do. It'd allow for quicker, more reliable build time.

The older i get, the more i realize that drive ability and ease of service is way better than overall power.

You're not getting much more out of the blower in these. Turbo'ing them looks to be less work per hp to be honest. But this just option 1 simply because of convenience. I have other options in exploring as well.
