What do you get the woman that has everything?  Have her seat recovered of course!

Removed the vinyl center section and replaced it with VW GTi material, cooler on hot days, wicks off water well.  New foam all around.

Hmmm, bought two yards, may have a piece left over big enough to do a headliner.  =~ )

Those look great! I've been very tempted to swap GTI cloth seats into my wife's Sportwagen. The black "leather" is real sweaty in summer and ice cold in winter.

That exact material would look great in my CRX, although it wouldn't be appropriate for a mid-80's Japanese sport hatch.

Those look awesome!  Did you sew them up yourself?  We need pics in the car showing them against that pretty blue paint!

Ditto on looking great. Also good to know 2 yards is plenty, I've been eyeballing some material to redo mine and found a couple yards that would be perfect.

Looks great.

I was going to use that same color as a headliner for my Golf R, then it blew up.

Love it! I've been thinking of having the centers of my blue 911 seats done in the same pattern.

1970s had some wild plaid patterns.
