Thanks Gary, I appreciate your encouragement, and the advice you've given along the way. Any updates on the T-Bird project?

Ill add it to my track box
OMG that friggin' battery tray killed my enthusiasm today. The packaging just wasn't working for me with the C4 side post battery. So I got a 275 CCA lawnmower battery and put it in the stock location. Bonus: now I don't have to wire in a master disconnect switch. Made an NHRA-compliant battery hold down from $2.99/lb aluminum cutoff and 2x 9" lengths of 3/8" all-thread.
I didn't weigh old vs new, but I did measure case dimension, and the new battery is about 40% smaller, so should be just about 40% lighter. I got this monster B+ cable for $8 at u-pull a while back, it's from a theft recovery Hellcat and is about 12' long by huge diameter.
I also have some #6 so not sure which way im going with this yet.
then I moved on to finish torquing front end fasteners, and slapped the front wheels and tires on. I swear the 245 A7 is exactly the same dimensions as the 275.
I took a step backwards with the firewall construction, but figured out how to make it work. Now I just have to make it. Here's the prioritized list.
Two more days of working on it, then it's onto the trailer and headed south.
EDIT: in theory, full droop plus full steer is worst-case for front tire clearance to lower front fender, and there's about 1/2" of daylight. I'll check again at ride height, of course, but I'm really hoping I don't have to cut the fenders.

It had what was left of a Hellcat after a chop shop dumped it on the street. The tub looked like it was pushed sideways through a giant plasma cutter, about 1" forward of the firewall.

Welcome to Hoosier Tire where the sizes are made up, and the numbers don't matter!
Bellcranks done! One just needed a couple TIG blasts to replace painters tape:
and the other needed a stop to keep it from being able to slip down over the bearing:
also registered for event and booked my room, and my buddy Jay picked up some needed wiring supplies so I can finish the battery cables. I heart progress.
1.5 days to go.
Another 2AM post. Taking vacation day tomorrow, should wrap up just about everything, or at least everything I know about at this time.
started the day at the Secretary Of State:
and yes, that is indeed the fourth sticker on the plate of a car that hasn't been out of my garage since I've owned it.
had some good help today from my buddy Jay:
who is a master of making wiring look good:
and ClassicJackets:
who donated a scrap tube I can use for a harness bar, and finished the radiator duct and scoop:
I cut and terminated and routed and secured battery cables:
and installed the PCM, and decided that some stuff doesn't have to be done before the race. Jay and I figured out some details of the firewall and air box and console and I think it's all gonna tie together pretty nicely. Still not looking like a car that's going to drive onto a trailer in about 32 hours...
time to shower and go to bed. Tomorrow is a big day. Some might say the biggest day.
One. Day. To. Go.
Go AC Go!!!
Here is my Project Car Build song. I picture the car as the singer.
