Also adapted a quick release steering wheel
I'm finding that on each build I do, I learn a lot and my skills improve, and therefore each car I build is done better than the last, and each big project is the "best car I've ever built".
Do you guys find the same thing in general?
I was thinking while looking at this, "it's kinda ironic that the best car the Nelson's ever built is FWD, even if it is only true momentarily".

We learn new things on every build. But this is only a Challenge car. We have built some really nice stuff that isn't budget restricted. The Talon would not meet a top 25. Admittedly, the low buck stuff is so much more fun to do.

No Sir.
A challenge car only needs to be presentable. There is barely enough bondo to smoothe the metal where it's welded. There is barely enough primer to cover bare metal. There is barely enough paint to change the color of the primer. Old paint is the primer. That keeps those cost done. Cheap chassis epoxy paints applied to fabricated assemblies make them stand out. The goal is to prepare it up to level where the pictures can make up the rest of the magic. When you see them up close and in person the flaws are more evident. But to the nay sayers (not you) who criticize these cars from a far, and see the magic of the editors, they look mo' bedda' then reality. Key is to pick touches and focal points that create the response you want before the judges (and your competitors) get closer than 10'.
The latest vid was really good! Seeing a bunch of progress the way you did it was great. My personal request would be to see just 50-75% of what you had in that round content wise, shortening to match, and then getting the episodes that little bit more frequently. Keep em coming whatever works, and thanks!
Looks killer! What a great build
Do you know of a guy named Chris Rado from PA that was one of the fastest FWD racers? He had same pretty wild builds.
I got to ride in a few of his cars, not the drag cars but a Supra, and a few TT Mercedes. It was terrifying lol.
Wow...your level of Build never ceases to amaze, you guys are both nuts and geniuses. Looking forward to seeing this thing run!
