How many man hours are in one flare, Andrew?
IIRC - 2 hours for the first one. 1+ for the second.
Removed 62# out of the doors so far. Will probably net 60# when release and windows go in.
Painted the floor. It is 6#-14oz. Probably over 20# lighter than the crap the previous owner installed
Inching forward.
Including glass, we pulled over 40# from each door on the funderbird. Then shortened them. Amazingly heavy, doors.
This is amazing, btw. Wrong wheel drive and all. And this from a guy who is bored with LS swaps. Keep it up. Go 7s.

You keeping using this word 'inching'. Seems more like sprinting to me. Your progress is inspiring. Awesome work! Love the color.

This has been painfully slow for us. We built the Fairmont in 4 months. This one will be 6+. Probably what has made it painful is that we have spent 2 month fixing previous owner messes. Working in the evenings and on weekends limits our time. Things pick up in the summer when I can take vacation.
This is coming along really well. with all of the painting you're doing, I'm really curious what's the paint setup you use? It seems like you're able to get it complete with minimal overspray (your floor isn't very green...)
Thanks for any info you can share on that....

This one may be taking 6 months, but you have done more in 6 months that most of us can do in several years but with a skill level well beyond the majority of us. Great project, you guys inspire me to rethink many things and spend the time to think through a problem before rushing to a solution. You have also taught me that doing one small piece every day (or every free minute) and you will be amazed how far along a project can come in a few months. I look to accomplish at least one or two small goals each day in the garage, which I learned from your projects over the years!

...and years of practice, I guess :) You keep inching along, you definitely inspire the rest of us.
and I will proceed at my own (slower) pace.
In reply to Greg Smith (Forum Supporter) :
Every hour, every minute, every second counts. As long as you're not idle time is not lost. The pace is not as important.
