Post 666, I'm feeling Devilish delight in finally being back to actually working on this build!
Dropped the T10 CR trans off to be freshened. Sold to me as "In perfect condition", uh, OK, we will see. Looking like I cannot help my schedule slipping a bit with so much going on, completion target is now end of May at the latest.
Also mailed the BIG check to get the shop tents, concrete floor guy is to be here in the morning.
Another small step completed, T10 trans rebuild has been completed at a little over $1,100.00.
So I'm into it about $1,400.00 but still about half what a new trans would cost. Have to remember this is to be "A
recently completed build begun in the 60's" so that the likely buyers get that warm vintage glow and bid high. Fresh rebuild with receipt should help the confidence level.
Engine block is at the machine shop, hoping to get it done this month.
